Columbus
The Knights
of
Columbus
is the largest worldwide organization of male practicing Catholics (1.6
million members) specializing in service and commitment to the Church, family,
and country. Key principles are: charity, unity, fraternity, and
patriotism. Knights are known for raising funds for schools,
churches, the physically impaired, for visits to the sick, blood
donations, assistance to those losing a loved one, and for providing aid to
those in need. The Knights of Columbus organization was founded by Fr. Michael
J.McGivney of
New Haven
,
CT.
whose cause for canonization is proceeding. Meeting are held on the
first and third Thursdays of the month in the Parish Hall.

Legion
of Mary
Our primary goal is to honor the Blessed
Virgin Mary through spiritual outreach. We endeavor to focus hearts and
minds on Jesus through his mother, the mediatrix of grace. Each week
Legionaries provide for others in a variety of ways-all of which hopefully
enhances the faith of both the giver and the receiver. Anyone interested
in learning more about the Legion of Mary is welcome to attend a Tuesday
meeting. We meet each Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. , in the RE Building.

Daughters of the
Americas
The Catholic Daughters of the
Americas
is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the
Americas
. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive
“to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.”
The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.” Catholic Daughter women enjoy each
other’s company at meetings and work hard for their parishes and

Women
of
Lou
rdes
The Women of
Lou
rdes is a ministry which invites the women of or parish to come together and
share their lives in word and action. The
ministry is spiritual, social, educational and supportive in nature.
We use our time and talent to reach out in service to the faith and
local communities. Our meeting are
the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 7PM – 9:30

Art
& Environment
This
ministry contributes to the spiritual, liturgical and visual environment of
our parish through art, flowers and decorations in line with liturgical
standards. We are looking for active participants with creative ideas to enhance the
beauty of our worship environment. Primary needs around Easter and Christmas, with various other special
occasions throughout the year. Contact

Pro-Life
This ministry has a fourfold
focus: As advocates, (1) to encourage full participation of persons with
disabilities in the life of the church; (2) to asses needs of the elderly and
act as a resource for older parishioners and their families; (3) to promote
the sanctity of human life through education and legislative advocacy in the
parish community; (4) to enable the parish community to form itself in the
Social Teaching of the Church and act on this teaching thorough service,
advocacy and community development. Ministers

in one or more of these areas, and are involved in diocesan and parish

Maintenance
This
ministry allows those parishioners with special God-given talents to tend to
the mending of the Our Lady of
Lou
rdes home. Occasionally a request
is made for these ministers to help make a small repair, solve a minor
plumbing or electrical problem etc. Contact

Coffee
& Donut Ministry
Volunteers for the Coffee, Juice & Donut
ministry have the responsibility of serving coffee and donuts after the Sunday
Masses on the first Sunday of the month. These
“Coffee and Donut” gatherings encourage Christian fellowship within our
